Breakfast at Tiffany's

My company event was costume this year. I went as Audrey Hepburns character Holly GoLightly in "Breakfast at Tiffanys". I had so much fun! Yoga: I have gained back most of what I felt I lost in flexibility, strength and stamina after the houseboat trip. I am gearing up for another challenge, but realistically it may not happen until January. That seems to be a great time of year to embark on a challenge. I'll go for 60 days again....and see how far past 60 I can go.

Lake Powell Trip and getting back into yoga

Oh man!  Lake Powell is gorgeous.  We had soooo much fun!  Of course, I've only done 5 yoga classes in the past 15 days, so I'm having major withdrawals.  Tonight I went to the 5:30 class with Nalini and felt like I was doing the yoga for the first time this week.  I went Monday and Tuesday nights and it was just hard both nights.  I had regressed majorly.  We are talking having trouble in fixed firm....stiff ankle, sore knee, old issues that I had worked through and conquered resurfacing from missing 7 days in a row of yoga due to the trip.  It is my intention to do another challenge, I'm just having trouble figuring out when I can do so.  These will all sound like excuses, but I have several events coming up that will get in the way of the challenge.  I'm still bowling Thursday nights, I have my company event Oct 25th, my daughters bday is coming up and then Halloween and roll right into November.  There is a chance I can start in November, so thats what I am shooting for.  So although it sounds like a bunch of excuses, I also realize to be successful with the challenge you have to have a somewhat clear calendar and really make the yoga the first priority.  So the blog will be revived when I finally do start.
In January, I'll do 60 days again if possible.  Kick off the year correctly!
Here are some pics from my very fun, very indulgent trip.
