Day 32: Trudging Through...

Tonight was 530 with Oksana.  Today was just hard for me.  I had a rough rough rough day.  And when I finally got to the yoga room (thank God!) I laid all my troubles down on the mat, but found no relief.  My class was suffering and struggle.  My limbs were not sexy and yogini like.  They were leaden weights.  The class was tough, just like my day.

  1. just a yogi from boston - found your blog somehow someway and stayed up til 3am last night reading nearly every post of your 60 day challenge.

it was so exciting and inspiring. i have been practicing quite regularly for about 4 years and go through spurts of intense growth and ho-hum stagnation in there....but regardless...I keep goin back!

Your blog inspired me to sign up for the upcoming 30 day challenge. 3rd one (did 2 last year) and I have a feeling THIS IS GOING TO BE THE ONE THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

I am ready to float in standing bow man!!

So anyways, started this comment just to say you're blog, history, story, and attitude rock and inspire. thanks!

  2. Andy,
Thank you so much for the nice feedback!
Good luck on your 30...you'll rock it out! Consider going for 60...if you've been practicing regularly the 30 might be too easy for a 4 year old yogi! :)

  3. Congrats on your success so far! You are an inspiration. I've been reading your blog and it's so amazing how universal a lot of the Bikram experience really is. Your insight, passion and honesty is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing yourself so generously.

Incidentally, I am a single mom, working myself away from Lane Bryant clothing, on Day 56 of our studio's 60 day challenge. By the time it is over, I will have done 16 doubles, but once I got started on this journey, I could not stop.
I did a 31 day last year, but until you do a 60, you just have no idea what it does to you, for you and through you.

I don't have to tell you to keep it up, because you will.

    Namaste

  4. I am doing it Michelle.

Kind of crazy. Kind of scary. But I'm doing it.

    60 days.

What's 54,000 breaths in a hot room anyways??
